The IUL Telematic University was established with Ministerial Decree of 2 December 2005, published in the Official Gazette of 5 January 2006. It issues academic qualifications with legal value pursuant to article 3 of Ministerial Decree no. 509 of 3 November 1999 and subsequent amendments. The University is promoted by the IUL Consortium, made up of two public entities : National Institute of Documentation, Innovation and Educational Research (INDIRE) University of Foggia The IUL Telematic University is a non-state public telematic university subject to accreditation and control by ANVUR (National Agency for the Evaluation of the University and Research System). The training offer of IUL, therefore, responds to a precise regulatory framework, to guarantee a constantly increasing training quality, constantly monitored through evaluations, self-assessments, and audits.
