The joint master's in ICT Innovation programme combines technical competencies in the comprehensive field of Information and Communication Technology with strong skills in innovation and entrepreneurship. The joint master's programme in Nuclear Energy educates tomorrow’s nuclear engineers on how to address the key technical, social and environmental challenges faced by the industry. Going beyond the scope of traditional nuclear education, the programme helps tomorrow’s engineers understand nuclear power in the context of a diverse energy mix. The programme is offered by four European universities through EIT InnoEnergy.

The master's programme in Information and Network Engineering addresses the digitalisation of modern society and the rapid evolution of advanced communication systems. It covers the enabling technologies behind smart homes, smart grids, big data and autonomous vehicles. Students gain a solid foundation in data analysis, wireless communications and networking, and expertise through specialisation. Graduates lead research and development within the field.

The master's programme in Vehicle Engineering covers all aspects from vehicle design, functions and dynamic properties, to systems for safety and comfort, and vehicles as part of the transport systems. Students can specialise in Automotive or Railway Engineering. Graduates have global career opportunities and the skills to contribute to innovative and sustainable solutions that minimise the vehicle industry's environmental impact.

The joint master's programme in Turbomachinery Aeromechanical University Training (THRUST) focuses on aeromechanics in turbomachines. Students acquire specialised knowledge of how turbomachines like jet engines, steam turbines and gas turbines operate and how to make them more efficient, reliable and affordable. The programme combines the expertise and facilities of the partnering institutes: KTH, Université de Liège, Duke University and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

The master's programme in Integrated Product Design teaches students how to create sustainable products, services, systems and business models. In one of two distinct specialisations, students either explore product, service and system design in relation to users and markets, or management of innovation and product development processes. Graduates have the expertise for careers in a wide range of industrial and business sectors.

The master's programme in Engineering Mechanics provides a solid and up-to-date knowledge base for the analysis and design of products and processes. Students learn to use advanced simulation and experimental methods to analyse mechanical phenomena ranging from lightweight gases to solid materials. Graduates work in numerous branches of design, testing, computation and research as managers, engineers, consultants, or researchers.

The master's programme in Industrial and Environmental Biotechnology provides a deep understanding of how to design and operate state-of-the-art life science-based processes with respect to product quality, sustainability and finance. Graduates have the competencies and skills to use cells, cell components and biomolecules to produce commodities such as chemicals, food, biofuels, clean water or soil and biomaterials for the development of a sustainable society.

The master's programme ICT Innovation combines technical competencies with skills in innovation and entrepreneurship. The programme strongly focuses on integrating education, research and business modules in its curriculum, with active industry involvement. Students choose one of six technical specialisation tracks. Graduates work with system and software development, product management, business development, start-ups and consulting.

The master's programme in Computer Science provides a broad education in computer science. Students acquire a solid foundation in advanced algorithms, computer security, artificial intelligence and internet protocols, and gain expertise through specialisation tracks. Graduates pursue careers at the forefront of software-based technologies, for example, software engineers, game developers, and IT project managers, or go on to PhD studies in order to pursue careers in research labs or in academia.

The joint master's programme in Environomical Pathways for Sustainable Energy Systems equips students with skills to minimise the environmental impact of current and future energy systems. Students gain a broad knowledge of energy systems and follow a specialisation in, for example, Energy Efficiency, Solar Systems or Offshore Energy. Students also acquire skills in innovation and commerce. Eight universities offer the programme through EIT InnoEnergy.

The master's programme in Engineering Physics bridges the gap between theoretical physics and practical engineering, seeking to develop future technology. Solving complex problems is an integral part of education, demanding in-depth knowledge of physics, as well as analytical and computational tools. Through specialisations, students become domain experts in one field of physics and go on to advanced industrial R&D positions or PhD studies.
